The Benefits of Rebuilding
A Revitalized St. Luke’s Campus
The new St. Luke’s hospital will have 120 beds, 50% more than originally planned. It will help CPMC better serve the changing demographics in San Francisco, with more families working and living South of Market. The Benefits of Rebuilding
Improved Access to Hands-On Care for the Low-Income and Uninsured
Our plan to Rebuild CPMC includes a new Center for Tenderloin Health to support community-based providers and improve access to our hands-on care; an innovative Center for Excellence in Community Health at St. Luke's to provide patients a primary care medical home and to support chronic disease management; and a Center of Excellence in Senior Health at St. Luke's.The Benefits of Rebuilding
Job Creation, City Improvements & Economic Stimulation
At its peak, our plan to Rebuild CPMC will employ up to 1,500 skilled workers across several construction sites, and will protect the jobs of the more than 6,500 people who work at CPMC. It also includes more than $80 million in investments for healthcare, transportation, workforce training, affordable housing and pedestrian safety. The Benefits of Rebuilding
World-Class Hands-on Care in Your City
With the construction of state-of-the-art facilities at St. Luke’s and at Van Ness & Geary, CPMC is investing in the latest technologies to support advances in medicine, education, and research. Both new hospitals will have all single-patient rooms for improved privacy as well as infection control. The Latest
