Asian Heritage Street Festival in Japantown - 260 Tested for Hepatitis B!

Last Saturday, thousands came out to attend the 4th Annual Asian Heritage Street Festival celebration in Japantown.  In partnership with the HepB Free campaign, CPMC co-hosted another round of Hep B screenings in an effort to increase awareness, treat, and prevent this disease in the API/Chinese community.

Over 260 individuals were tested, and we look forward to an even larger turnout at our future screenings! To stay posted with other HepB events near you or to find out more about this epidemic please log on to http://www.sfhepbfree.org.  Special thanks again to Ted Fang, the Asian Week Foundation, Janet Zola from the Dept. of Public Health, and the rest of the HepBFree team for all of your hard work and commitment to this effort.
