World Breastfeeding Event
Last Sunday, more than 216 families celebrated World Breastfeeding Week at an event at the Eureka Valley Recreation Center Playground hosted by CPMCBabysteps.org and Newborn Connections. Families enjoyed a free, catered lunch outdoors in the playground area and later on participated in a gift raffle. Parents also indulged in free massages, a “Starting Solids” information session, and breast-feeding seminars while kids got their faces painted, sang along with Enzo Garcia, and participated in several arts and crafts activities. Special thanks to Glenda Hamilton with Newborn Connections, SF Breastfeeding Promotion Coalition, and all the volunteers and families who came to support World Breastfeeding Week and made this event a great success.Take Up Your Keyboard and Talk to Us
