California Campus

Plans for the California Campus:

• During construction of the campus at Van Ness and Geary, Women & Children’s services will continue to be provided at the California Campus.
• Once the new hospital is built, Women & Children’s services will be transferred to the campus at Van Ness and Geary.
• Once the Women's and Children's services are moved to the campus at Van Ness and Geary, our California Campus will give us the much-needed flexibility to plan for complementary services.
• Major advances in health care could create new opportunities for the California Campus. Options for this campus include creating a Continuum of Care Retirement Community or a Gene Therapy clinic.
• Ancillary services will continue at the California Campus, including imaging and laboratory services.
